"Therefore..."
While true, I always hate hearing someone say, "When you see a therefore, always ask yourself 'What's it there for?'"

Love the way you lie.
Eminem and Rihanna have a song out that talks pretty explicitly about an abusive relationship. They guy jumps back and forth between strong feelings of remorse and strong feelings of anger.
Thing thing is, when I was talking to some people about this song the other day, I called it beautiful. That took everyone by surprise. No one else really agreed. Looking back on it, it does seem strange to call it beautiful, but I don't take it back.
The song isn't beautiful because it's about abuse. It's beautiful because it highlights something that's a real issue in the world. I think it accurately depicts how emotions can change. It accurately depicts how you can go from "I won't ever again" to violence.
How do I know? Cause it's an issue I've had to deal with. Not quite to violence, but anger that would've had it gone unchecked.

People pleasing.
I have a people pleasing issue. I really want to make everyone I can happy.
I don't feel like that's typically a problem. There's nothing wrong with making people happy. The problem comes when it becomes disabling.
When I get too caught up worrying about whether or not I've upset someone with my choices that I can't really function, that's a problem. And that tends to happen. I feel like I took too much initiative on a project and the others want to do their part. Or I feel like I haven't contributed enough, and others wish I'd do my part. I decide on something and can't figure out if it's what everyone really wanted to do.
In the end, it doesn't really matter. Life goes on. If people are offended enough, hopefully they'll tell me. If people don't like a decision, they can decide for themselves. I don't have to do everything perfectly, and frankly, I can't. I just need to remember that.

Frustrated.
I get slightly frustrated when people say this word wrong. See how it's spelled? It's got an 'r' at the front.

Caring.
I absolutely love caring for people. I love to make people laugh. To make them feel comfortable. Make them feel special.
Planned and unplanned, it's awesome. Planning is great because it means you can go all out. You can surprise someone for their birthday or take them to their favorite restaurant. Unplanned is great cause there's a different kind of beauty in the spontaneity. Deciding to skip class at the last minute to spend time with friends. Buying someone coffee when they've had a rough day. Telling someone how beautiful or talented they are.
It's amazing. You should try it if you don't already.
